Safe4Child Partners Meeting in Cork, Ireland
The first transnational consortium meeting took place in University College Cork on the 29th and 30th of August 2022, with partners meeting in person and online over the two days. The day started with an overview of the project. This was followed by a presentation outlining the findings of the Systematic Literature review that was conducted as part of project result 1. This was followed by each partner providing an update on their progress regarding conducting, translating and coding interview and focus groups and the collection of incident reports. In the afternoon one of the team members in UCC provided an overview of trauma informed care. On the second day, the focus was on project result 2 with time spent considering the content and delivery of the training program with next steps agreed in relation to developing the Virtual Reality content.
Partners who traveled to Cork from Bulgaria and Finland had the opportunity to so on a guided tour of UCC and learn about its history. We also experienced some of the Irish music and culinary culture around Cork city and enjoyed an informal get together in one of the Cork teams homes.
